Hairstylists for Men – Mainly for Men is an exclusive hair salon with specific focus on cutting and styling gents’ hair. It was established in 2000 by owner-hair stylist, Eleanor du Preez, an accomplished hair stylist practicing in men and women’s hair care, cutting and styling.

After participating in various hair styling competitions and working as senior stylist, at a very young age at the well known Mason Costa in Bloemfontein, Eleanor relocated to Cape Town. She recognised a need in the market for gents grooming – specifically an exclusive environment where men can feel more welcome, relaxed and at home than in the general unisex salons.

This exclusive hair salon has grown to become a well-established and well-known part of the men’s grooming industry in the wider Western Cape with clients working in Gauteng and living in the Cape, still visiting regularly.

Our hairstylists give new and fresh hair styles in an atmosphere where clients can be pampered while receiving a hair cut and style, hair wash and scalp massage and final styling, as well as beard trims and shoulder massages, as optional services.

With beautiful views of the Stellenbosch and Paarl mountains we are located close to Tygervalley Centre, Cape Town next to a large car park in Rosenpark, Bellville.
